Stalker who targeted Crown star Claire Foy in a 'deeply frightening' campaign spared jail 🔴 Jack Penrose, a US citizen, will be extradited to the US, after receiving a suspended sentence at the Old Bailey
The court previously heard that Penrose had sent an email to Foy’s agent and publicist claiming that he was a film director and producer and wanted her to appear in his next film. Foy told her agent she did not know who the man was.
Penrose sent Foy’s agent more than 1,000 emails, also sending emails to the actress’s publicist, he contacted the star’s sister by email and and turned up at Foy’s home on 17 December 2021, repeatedly ringing her doorbell.protection order in July 2022 – and he was banned from staying away from the actress for five years.
At the time of granting the SPO, District Judge Michael Oliver said: “I am satisfied order is necessary, this was sustained and repeated conduct due to a delusional belief Mr Penrose had about Ms Foy.”
