After wild overtime upset of Colorado, Stanford players trolled Shedeur Sanders' Rolex flex celebration.
Stanford overcame a 29-0 halftime deficit on Friday night to upset Colorado on the road in an overtime thriller, 46-43. After a 3-0 start to the season that included a considerable amount of literal and figurative flexing by Buffaloes players, Colorado has now lost three of its last four — thus opening the door to a whole lot of trolling. Stanford gladly walked right through it on Friday night.
The celebration has made widely watched appearances during a victory over ASU and during a primetime interview following an overtime win against in-state rival Colorado State. “We talked as a team and like, ‘We’re not going out like that.’ Especially like, you know when somebody disrespects Pops,” Sanders told ESPN following the victory over Colorado State. “So you know, I was just waiting the whole time to put the watch on.” On Friday night, the watch never made it on Sanders’ post-game wrist.
