Everton academy prospect Stanley Mills has made an impressive start to his loan move at Oxford United
Everton youngster Stanley Mills has opened up about his successful start to life on loan at Oxford United.
Taking the next step in his career, the forward secured a loan switch to Oxford. The U’s have made a positive start to the season, sitting third in League One after seven games, and Mills has proved himself to be a bright spark in Liam Manning’s side. “I’ve settled in quickly. The lads here are brilliant, and the club have been really helpful with sorting a place for me to live, so it’s been really good," Mills told Everton’s club website.
The majority of his appearances have come from the bench but Mills will be confident of staying in the XI after justifying his spot with an eye-catching finish. It is all a learning curve for the young prospect, who keeps in contact with Everton’s loans pathway manager James Vaughan, and admits his experiences with Everton’s academy have prepared him for life in the EFL.
