Melbourne Rebels star halfback Ryan Louwrens has caused raised eyebrows this week after the team Twitter account posted a photo of him looking in impeccable shape.
The image, which shows the 28-year-old's biceps bulging as he tries to catch a tennis ball, caught fire on the Rebels' Twitter account, particularly after his starring performance in his first start for the Rebels last Friday. The Johannesburg native impressed immediately, with his Rebels teammate Andrew Kellaway calling him "the full package"."He's so big and strong and confrontational. I hadn't seen much of Ryan before I came back here."He brings a different element to Frank ."
Louwrens' stint with the Rebels comes after he played 24 matches for the Western Force between 2014 and 2017.
