"I thought Pete Samu was absolutely outstanding," Morgan Turinui said after the upset win over the Blues in Melbourne. "You talk about a Test match standard game, I thought he excelled in that. Changed his role up within the game a few times, showed his great skill, but balancing it so well with the tough stuff.
"We keep talking about breakdown and physicality in matches, the backrows that stand up. Talking to Joey about all the backrowers in New Zealand he was saying you put anyone in a black jersey, they're so good across the board. To be able to stand up in the heat of those battles I think's important."
