Star Wars' Witches of Dathomir are weaker than Sith Lords, but they do have one shocking power no other dark side user possesses.
The Nightsisters of the Star Wars Legends continuity may not be as powerful as the Sith, but they have at least one dark side power that even the Dark Lords can't access. In the now-bygone Legends continuity, the Witches of Dathomir consisted of powerful Force-sensitive human women with their own unique Force-using traditions. One such group, known as the Nightsisters, used the dark side of the Force in inventive and potent ways against their enemies.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Thanks to a retcon, the very first Nightsister shown in Star Wars Legends is Charal, who abandoned her sisters and fled Dathomir only to end up stranded on the Forest Moon of Endor, where she became a high-ranking member of a gang of Sanyassan Marauders. In Charal’s live-action debut in Ewoks: The Battle for Endor and her appearance in Star Wars: Ewoks - Shadows of Endor, by Zack Giallongo, she has the ability to transform into a raven.
The Talisman proves to be the undoing of Charal once again in Battle for Endor, as the Sanyassan leader, Terek, steals the gem from Charal after she transforms, trapping her in raven form. The Talisman is later destroyed, killing Terek when its dark side energies are unleashed. Charal’s fate in the Star Wars Legends universe is unknown, but there is now no way for her to return to human form.
Could the Sith Learn Animal Transformation? While the Sith Lords are not known to perform such drastic transformations, they do have a similar power. Palpatine is believed to have masked his decrepit appearance for years using the dark side, an illusion that was shattered by his own Force lightning in a duel with Jedi Master Mace Windu. Of course, there's a world of difference between this kind of masking and physically becoming an animal.

Biden wants $886 billion defense budget with eyes on Ukraine and future warsWASHINGTON (Reuters) -President Joe Biden's biggest peacetime U.S. defense budget request of $886 billion includes a 5.2% pay raise for troops and the largest allocation on record for research and development, with Russia's war on Ukraine spurring demand for more spending on munitions. Biden's request earmarks $842 billion for the Pentagon and $44 billion for defense-related programs at the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Department of Energy and other agencies. Congress has signaled, as it often does, it will increase defense spending over Biden's request during the months-long budget process that this request kicks off.
