Star Wars is setting the stage to turn the Millennium Falcon evil. New villain Ajax Sigma is preparing for a droid revolution - the same kind L3-37, now an AI who controls the ship's functions, would love.

Spoilers for Star Wars: Revelations #1!In Star Wars lore, the Millennium Falcon is one of the most iconic starships to ever do it, with a recent development in Star Wars comics setting the stage for Han Solo’s “piece of junk” space vehicle — and more specifically, its onboard droid A.I.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY A ship that has woven its way through a large chunk of Star Wars mythos over the years, the Millennium Falcon once belonged to Lando Calrissian, and most famously, Han Solo, with the film Solo: A Star Wars Story revealing that the ship houses the conscious A.I. of Lando’s close droid ally, L3-37. An outspoken critic of how droids are treated in the galaxy, L3 was a champion for robot rights across the board.

The Seeds of An Evil Millennium Falcon Are Planted With what fans know about L3 coupled with the idea that Ajax is recruiting some familiar droid faces for his cause, it’s not out of the realm of possibility L3 could side with Ajax given her passion for droid rights, or at the very least entertain the thought of doing so, especially after decades of being locked inside the Falcon with no way out.

So while it hasn’t yet been explicitly shown or stated that L3-37, and by extension the Falcon, will turn evil and join up with Ajax, it makes perfect sense with what's been set up thus far in comics and film and would flip Star Wars lore on its head in the best way possible. The Millennium Falcon may be going up against Star Wars heroes for once, so fans should stay tuned for what comes next in a galaxy far, far away!Star Wars: Revelations #1 is now available from Marvel Comics.
