Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Star Wars has dropped the first trailer for the surprising Tales of the Empire, a new animated series releasing on May the Fourth. 2022's Tales of the Jedi miniseries featured never-before-scene moments in the lives of both Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku when he was still a Jedi.
Just like Tales of the Jedi, the end of the trailer confirms that the entire Tales of the Empire miniseries will begin streaming on May the Fourth , rather than releasing weekly. That said, seeing the survival of Morgan Elsbeth following General Greivous' massacre of the Nightsister and her subsequent alliance with Thrawn should prove to be incredibly exciting as well, especially regarding what it might reveal about Star Wars' future now that Thrawn has returned to the Nightsisters' world of Dathomir at Ahsoka's end. At any rate, Tales of the Empire replacing Tales of the Jedi is as surprising as it is most welcome for the Star Wars canon.
