A dozen of the hundreds of brown pelicans found starving on the Southern California coast were released after rehabilitation at a wildlife center.

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. -- A dozen of the hundreds of brown pelicans found starving on the Southern California coast were released Friday after rehabilitation at a wildlife center.
