State lawmen have been requested to investigate after a suspect was shot dead by authorities Tuesday following a chase in southeast Alabama.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office requested the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s State Bureau of Investigation to probe an officer-involved shooting in the area, said ALEA spokeswoman Amanda Wasden.Wasden did not provide details on the incident and Henry County Sheriff Eric Blankenship could not be reached for comment.
