Melbourne band The Temper Trap performed to more than 90,000 Origin fans at the Game 2 of the series on Wednesday night, however not everyone was thrilled with their pre-match show.
A Melbourne indie rock band booked to perform at State of Origin’s Game 2 has drawn a mixed response from crowds packed into the MCG, with the NSW Blues going on to dominate the game.

Esp when it’s this good,” one Instagram user said.However, not everyone was peachy keen on the pre-game music choice.The main gripe of critics appeared to be that the song choice wasn’t able to “fire up” the crowd before the game.
