Victorian asthma sufferers have been urged to take precautions after the state’s emergencies website forecast an increased risk of epidemic thunderstorm asthma on Wednesday.

The more than 600,000 asthma sufferers in one of Australia's most populated states have been advised to take precautions to avoid “severe” symptoms caused by a dangerous weather phenomenon.
