On a mini-stage in the basement of StellaMcCartney’s SoHo flagship store, AmySchumer played host for the designer’s annual holiday party, which also celebrated her new Vogue cover.
After Schumer “turned on the lights”—McCartney’s tradition for kicking off the holiday season—the stage lit up behind her, and so did the crowd. Unlike rigid events with lengthy speeches and scheduled performances, this one was a genuinely good time, with guests sipping tequila and trying on light-up jewelry placed throughout the store. At one point, Fallon danced on stage with Brooklynn Prince, and Marley performed a few songs with Quiet Luke.
McCartney mostly seemed excited to dance and reconnect with friends, but she certainly had a lot to “Stella-brate,” as her team cheekily put it. Thecover is the cherry on top of a major year for her brand, including some big strides in sustainability and countless product launches. As for what she’s celebrating next, McCartney feigned exhaustion: “I can’t even keep up with all of the things we’re working on!” she joked. “But we definitely have some exciting news coming up.
