the former Fiat Chrysler, said Tuesday it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Orano to create a joint venture for recycling end-of-life EV batteries and scrap from gigafactories in Enlarged Europe and North America. The move is expected to bolster its position in the EV battery value chain by securing additional access to cobalt, nickel, and lithium, all of which are key for electrification and energy transition.
