Steve Harvey and the Miss Universe teleprompter had another flub.
The 62-year-old comic, who was hosting for the fifth year in a row, inadvertently announced the wrong contestant as the winner of the National Costume category, and was corrected by the real winner.
However, the real winner was, in reality, Miss Malaysia Shweta Sekhon, who took to the stage in a truly jaw-dropping ornate gown that represented the culture and traditions of her country. Harvey was quick to explain that this mishap was not, in fact, his fault, but stemmed to a teleprompter mistake. "This is Malaysia," Harvey added, having learned from the mistake."I really love this national costume of Malaysia."
