Sky News host Steve Price has slammed workplace flexibility rules that allow employees to work from home, declaring people “pretend” to work when they are actually “down the shops”.
Steve Price has slammed flexible workplace arrangements, launching into a rant about how people"pretend" to get the job done and declaring that"no one" should be able to stay at home in their"grimy tracky dacks".
“No one should be able to work from home in grimy tracky dacks, and put their feet up on a desk, and go out the back and feed the dog while they're supposed to be working. You get to work,” Price said on Monday. “If you're working in a job where you're just sending emails, I actually don't know what people do for a job, but I've seen them on computers, and that looks like something you could do at home.”The NSW Premier’s decision to call an end to work from home rules for NSW public servants came after it was revealed businesses in Sydney's CBD were struggling to get trade as staff continued to work from home.
