Punters arrived at Anfield in the droves to see Gerrard and Torres get the band back together but it was the Dutch side who turned heads with attacking swagger and chances aplenty. Knackered Jerzy Dudek hadn't been worked this hard since Istanbul with Boerrigter – who spent three injury-ravaged years in Glasgow before retiring – strutted his stuff and left some veterans in red breathing heavy.
