Filers with a tax liability equal to or over $800 will receive the full amount, according to the South Carolina Department of Revenue, while those who owe money will have that amount subtracted from the rebate.People who filed their 2021 SC1040 tax return back in October will receive the rebate before the end of the year.
South Carolina is one of several states that are trying various forms of financial relief for residents who are struggling with surging prices on nearly all products due to persistently high inflation.
