Dujuan Hoosan is a boy who's trying to get the Government to stop Indigenous children being removed from their families, and address the high incarceration rates of Indigenous youth.

That means that I have a memory of Aboriginal people; in my blood it runs," Dujuan said in the film.Dujuan speaks three languages and is a child-healer; a gift he proudly inherited from his grandfather, Ngangkere.

Dujuan was encouraged to learn traditional ways of living and the use of his native languages was enforced by his elders.
