More storms, some with hail, are possible again in North Texas Tuesday and Wednesday morning. Eventually, they’ll be replaced by the heat. The FOX 4 Weather team has the latest.
The storms once again include the risk of hail and some heavy rain.
The disturbance coming out of Oklahoma will quiet down mid to late morning. But the front that has been over our area for the past few days will still be hanging out all afternoon. That means new showers, storms, and hail risks for the northern and northeastern counties on Wednesday.The hail that fell in North Texas Sunday night was abnormally large for this time of year. But FOX 4 Weather Meteorologist Evan Andrews says there's something different about the atmosphere this year.

NWS: hail up to 4' reported in North Texas - KRLD NewsYou never know when severe weather will hit in North Texas. The ingredients for huge hail all came together on Sunday, and damage reports are still coming in. The National Weather Service in Fort Worth says hail up to 4 inches in diameter was reported in Flower Mound (southern Denton County). Large hail was also reported in nearby Bartonville, Highland Village, Copper Canyon and Lewisville. In Collin County, hail up to 2 inches was reported in Frisco. And in Rockwall County, 2 inch hail was reported in Fate and Rockwall, and baseball-sized hail reported in Royse City. National Worth Service Fort Worth meteorologist Bianca Garcia joined KRLD's John Liddle to review the impact of Sunday's storms, and what we could see Monday.
