The plot feels very current as it centres around a highly infectious, constantly mutating microorganism escaping from the military facility where it had been contained decades prior, threatening to destroy the world.
In the present day, the military has sealed the facility's lowest sublevel and sold the remaining space to a self-storage company. As the microorganism escapes and is left to spread, humanity can be saved by a retired bioterror operative and two facility employees-turned-heroes, caught in a race against time to destroy the organism and save the day.
