The pair have been doing well on the show and are a firm favourite among fans, with many comparing them to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, which the duo also addressed. "We've had that a lot," Alex says. "From the moment we were paired it’s like, look at those two, Harry and Meghan." Neil jokes they could even get jobs as royal lookalikes. "If things don’t work out for you and I don’t work out as a dancer, you never know," he told Alex with a laugh.

She told the publication: "People assume I went for the money but it wasn’t that, it was so I could improve in a way that wasn’t possible here. Now though you can develop your game by staying in England, you don’t have to go to America or Sweden any more.
