The dancer has been openly sharing her journey with her social media following after being diagnosed with stage three breast cancer
Strictly Come Dancing star has delighted her co-stars and followers as she reached a major milestone in her cancer journey. earlier this year.
The Welsh star then faced the news that doctors found another type of cancer, changing her planned course of treatment which she described as a "massive blow" as it meant she couldn't compete on Strictly this year. But Amy has since been sharing her cancer journey and raising awareness for others to check their breasts.
Sharing a photo of the pair outside the hospital as she held up an 'eight' with their fingers, Amy penned: "It’s chemo number 8! The last one! We are finally here. I’ve cried all morning! Right an afternoon of chemo and then I’m so lucky and grateful to be able to ring that bell!" Amy has since returned to social media and later shared a photo of herself and two other women ho had also completed their chemotherapy treatment. The trio all beamed for the camera alongside the bell as the Strictly pro explained: "Today all three of us ring that chemo bell! 32,35 and 26 when all diagnosed with breast cancer so please this is a note from us three to check your chest!
