Strictly Come Dancing veteran Katya Jones has opened up about her experience on the hit BBC show, admitting that she 'didn't know what she was getting into' when she first signed up
Katya Jones has opened up about her early days on Strictly Come Dancing , revealing she wasn't media trained when she first joined the glitzy BBC dance floor.
The Russian-born dancer, who became part of the Strictly family in 2016 alongside her then-husband Neil Jones, confessed to not fully understanding what she was diving into, admitting: "I didn't know what I was getting into". Giovanni - who quit the show - fiercely denied the 'defamatory allegations', with his representative saying in a statement: "We would urge people to wait for the review's conclusion and not to pay heed to these very serious and defamatory allegations that have no evidence in support of them. Giovanni refutes any claim of threatening or abusive behaviour."
"So I wasn't media trained. I didn't know what I was getting into. I just knew I loved dance." OK! has reached out to the BBC for comment.
