Stuart Dallas has announced his retirement from football after two years of fighting to recover from a serious leg break in April 2022
Stuart Dallas has retired from professional football, Leeds United have announced. The 32-year-old suffered a femoral fracture while playing against Manchester City in April 2022, but after a long battle to recover, he has sadly accepted he will not return to action.
A club statement said: “Dallas will go down as a legend for both club and country for his achievements in the game, while away from the pitch he has also shown his commitment to our local community, representing the club at numerous events and engaging regularly with supporters.”United describe him as an icon of the club with discussions ongoing about his future plans with a role at Elland Road potentially on the cards.
