The RaidersCanberra have suffered a devastating blow with co-captain Josh Hodgson leaving the field with a suspected ACL injury.
The Raiders medical staff are likely to confirm the worst possible news for Hodgson on Sunday afternoon after the inspirational hooker was helped from the field with a likely ACL rupture in the first half.
The club also released fringe forwards Jack Murchie , Luke Bateman and JJ Collins during the COVID-19 season break. Compounding the woes for Canberra they also lost winger Bailey Simonsson to a shoulder injury in the second half. The Raiders winger was sent for a 10-minute spell on the sidelines for a professional foul on Storm winger Josh Addo-Carr after the NRL Bunker reviewed the incident.
