Almost a dozen schools across New South Wales reverted to pandemic-era learning from home this week amid multiple COVID-19 outbreaks. 9News

9News understands 11 schools in the state had at least one learning from home day this week for some cohorts.

These included Martindale Public School , Orange High School , Yawarra Community School , Kincumber High School , Cammeray Public School , Carenne School , Liverpool Girls High School , Parkes High school , Kemps Creek , Karabar High School and Five Islands Secondary College .The classroom absences were due to a combination of student and teacher COVID-19 cases, with 11 of 67 teaching staff at Liverpool Girls High School absent with the virus.
