HBO on Thursday released the official trailer for Season 4 of Succession, the Emmy-winning drama series that creator Jesse Armstrong recently said is wrapping its run with this new season’s 10 episodes (WATCH)
Jesse Armstrong recently said is wrapping its runThe trailer marks the first time HBO has acknowledged this season would be the final since Armstrong revealed the series’ pending end in an interview.The Roy family saga picks up as the sale of media conglomerate Waystar Royco to tech visionary Lukas Matsson looms. The prospect of the seismic sale provokes existential angst and familial division among the Roys: patriarch Logan Roy and his four grown children, Kendall , Siobhan , Roman and Connor .
The trailer today also confirms that the finale season features some of the most memorable characters the Roys have done business with over the years, including Stewy and Nan Pierce .has 13 Emmys including Best Drama Series wins for its Season 2 and Season 3, the latter of which premiered in 2021. Armstrong created the series, executive produces and showruns. EPs also includes Adam McKay, Frank Rich, Kevin Messick, Jane Tranter, Mark Mylod, Tony Roche, Scott Ferguson, Jon Brown, Lucy Prebble, Will Tracy and Will Ferrell.
