Fort Bend ISD's Commonwealth Elementary School took the top spot for the A-rated elementary campuses in Houston in the 2022 Children At Risk rankings.
Commonwealth's A+ rating comes through annual findings that are part of the nonprofit Children at Risk’s efforts through research and data to provide educators and communities a map of how public schools in Texas are performing.
Approximately 6 percent of students at Commonwealth, which has an enrollment of 960, fall in the economically disadvantaged category, according to Children At Risk data.
