Mother Nature will deliver 90-degree weather and have the sun beating down on central Pennsylvania as August draws to a close, forecasters said. Dry and hot days are in store for the rest of this week, with only a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms Friday, according to theForecasters said temperatures will peak in the mid 80s Wednesday and rise into the 90s Thursday. Highs are expected to hover near 90 through at least Saturday.Forecasters said Sunday will be a sunny and upper 80-degree day. The heat wave is likely to continue Monday, as temperatures are expected to peak near 93.
The weather pattern in CPA into the end of August will feature above normal temperatures with limited opportunities for appreciable rainfall.
