Sunrise correspondent Isabelle Mullen has been forced to take cover as she reported on the wildfires raging across Southern California and engulfing large swathes of Los Angeles. Two people have so far died, thousands have fled their homes and multi-million-dollar mansions have been destroyed as the emergency continues to unfold on Thursday morning .

Sunrise reporter takes cover during live cross amid LA wildfire emergency. The fast-moving wildfires have raged out of control in LA and surrounds, destroying hundreds of buildings, scorching hillsides and seeing 70,000 people leave their homes. On Thursday, Mullen was reporting from the ground in one of the worst hit areas in Altadena, about 23km from downtown LA, when she was quickly forced to take cover alongside her camera person.
