A Sunshine Coast man has been charged with raping two children, one of whom was allegedly sexually assaulted repeatedly over a 10-year period.
Police have also charged a 49-year-old Mango Hill woman, who they allege knew about the abuse and failed to report it.
It's alleged he sexually abused a child in North Brisbane repeatedly between the years 2009 and 2018 and then went on to abuse another child on the Sunshine Coast last year.Detective Senior Sergeant Kerri Della-Vedova, who headed up the investigation, said offences against children are among the most horrendous as they target the most vulnerable.
