Jez Litten kicked a drop-goal four minutes from time as Hull KR moved level on points at the top of Betfred Super League with a 13-12 win over Castleford. Castleford were first to get on the scoreboard following an error-strewn first few minutes through Sam Wood, but the Robins responded with two tries in quick succession courtesy of Tom Opacic and Elliot Minchella to give them a 12-6 half-time lead.
Two tries in quick succession threatened to open the floodgates for the Robins, but the hosts stood firm and came close to levelling proceedings as Sylvester Namo looked to barge through the defence, only to fumble the ball 10 yards out.The visitors thought they were in again when Peta Hiku picked a hole down the right side, but referee Liam Moore blew up for obstruction.
