Digital-only title Super Mega Baseball 2 has been delisted from the Xbox store, and EA has now confirmed that servers for the baseball game will close in July.
The Xbox server closures keep on coming, with developer Metalhead Software's arcade baseball title Super Mega Baseball 2 being the latest casualty. It appears that Super Mega Baseball 2 was delisted without warning from digital storefronts sometime last week. As far as we can tell, no reason has been given for the delisting, but it's likely down to expiring licenses, as is usually the case.
Sadly, Super Mega Baseball 2 is a digital-only title, which means if you didn't buy it when you had the chance , you probably won't be able to get your hands on a copy, as a boxed version doesn't exist. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLdVIYwXs88&pp=ygUjc3VwZ... On top of this, EA has also announced that the Super Mega Baseball 2 servers will close on July 24.
