Six Super Netball clubs are moving to South Australia to finish the season due to the COVID-19 outbreaks in Victoria and NSW.

The Melbourne Vixens, Collingwood Magpies, NSW Swifts and the Giants were all leaving the Victorian capital on Thursday as the city braced for another lockdown.The West Coast Fever are likely to remain in Perth for their next home match but the club knows a move to South Australia is being considered."We have moved quickly and decisively as the coronavirus situation develops," Netball Australia chief executive Kelly Ryan said in a statement.
"We have worked closely with the clubs to determine this is the best immediate option to ensure the season is completed, with the wellbeing of our athletes at the forefront of the decision-making process." The Vixens and Magpies were due to face-off in a Melbourne derby at John Cain Arena on Sunday, with the Swifts-Thunderbirds match scheduled after as part of a double header.
