Alerts have been sent out by the Food Standards Agency for a number products with safety issues
A list of all the latest items that are being recalled, as well as the reason, has been produced and updated by the Food Standards Agency . Some of the reasons for recalls is that some items contain Listeria or salmonella while others may contain pieces of metal.
Morrisons Morrisons are taking the precautionary action of recalling The Best Taleggio because Listeria monocytogenes has been found in the product. The product details are:The FSA said: "The presence of Listeria monocytogenes in the product listed above. Symptoms caused by this organism can be similar to flu and include high temperature, muscle ache or pain, chills, feeling or being sick and diarrhoea.
Sainsbury's Sainsbury’s is continuing to recall 'by Sainsbury’s Flaked Almonds' because Salmonella has been found in the product. The FSA said symptoms caused by salmonella usually include fever, diarrhoea and abdominal cramps.Best before: February 2025 Aldi Signature Flatbreads UK is continuing to take the precautionary step of recalling Village Bakery 8 Tortilla Wraps White because of a possible presence of metal, as the product may have been tampered with. The FSA said the possible presence of metal makes this product unsafe to eat.
A recall notice issued by Aldi states: "As a precautionary measure, our supplier is recalling Village Bakery 8 Tortilla Wraps White because this product may have been contaminated with pieces of metal. No other Aldi products are affected.
