The court apparently won’t chip away at Roe, but instead take an ax to it.
The women’s movement of the 60s and 70s — the Second Wave Feminism warriors who fought so hard for social change — created a path to opportunities that Bette Pairett Grigsby never imagined when she gave birth to me at age 20. There’s always the chance that the anti-Roe ruling will be revised before its official release in late June or early July. But that’s a long shot given that the anti-abortionists on the court have the votes they need for approval.
