The numbers are in for the new paperback edition of Prince Harry’s memoir Spare almost two years after the original hardback sold millions of copies worldwide.

In the book, California-based Harry spilled secrets about his family, admitted to illicit drug use and accused his own “wicked” stepmother Queen Camilla of leaking to the press.

Spare sold a whopping 64,000 copies locally in its first week of release as Aussies lapped up Harry’s royal secrets, including embarrassing revelations about King Charles, Prince William and Princess Catherine.According to UK sales data seen by the Daily Mail, the new paperback version of Spare launched last month is languishing in 73rd place in the British charts after moving just a few thousand copies.

However, the Spare paperback is a word-for-word reproduction of the hardback edition and features the exact same cover image as the original book.tipped the Duke of Sussex to dish extra secrets or write about the public reaction to his memoirHarry opened up about royal secrets in his memoir Spare, including trashing William and Kate. Bizarrely, the Duke of Sussex chose not to give any interviews to publicise the paperback edition at all before it came out globally on October 24.
