A senior Loan Officer Survey in the United States has suggested a “tightening of credit conditions,” says CommSec’s Craig James.
“That raised the prospect that the Federal Reserve may move to the interest rate sidelines,” Mr James told Sky News Australia.
“There’s also some encouragement … that the latest consumer inflation expectations improved from 4.7 per cent to 4.4 per cent.”
