Victor Shavers was arrested on a murder charge in the killing of a man in an Oak Cliff home.
File photo.A 36-year-old man was arrested after police say he fatally stabbed a man in east Oak Cliff on Friday.
Officers responded about 2:35 p.m. to a home in the 4400 block of Cardinal Drive, between Scotland Drive and Ann Arbor Avenue, and found the stabbing victim, according to police. The victim, who has not been publicly identified, died at the scene.The suspect, Victor Shavers, was still in the house when the officers arrived and was arrested, police said.Shavers was booked into the Dallas County jail on a murder charge Friday evening.
