A suspect has been placed in police custody following a double fatal shooting in Avondale Sunday.
A suspect is in police custody after two people were fatally shot in Avondale Sunday, according to police.
Avondale police said that they received an emergency call Sunday around 3:00 p.m. about someone who was shot near North Central Avenue and East Madden Drive. Officers arrived on scene to find an adult man and adult woman who had sustained gunshot wounds. Medical personnel pronounced both victims dead at the scene, according to the Avondale Police Department.
