Suspect sought after Metro bus driver stabbed in Woodland Hills
When officers arrived, they found a Metro bus driver who had been stabbed. The driver was transported to a hospital in critical condition.
Officers described a six-foot tall man, wearing a red shirt and black pants, roughly the age of 21, with curly blonde hair as the suspect in the stabbing. Metro says the man boarded the bus and began an argument with the driver. They both got off of the bus and continued arguing before the man stabbed the driver multiple times with a knife.
“Metro is shocked and sadden to hear about this heinous act of violence and is providing support to our employee and his loved ones,” Metro said in a statement. “We will work closely with the LAPD to investigate this incident, identify and prosecute the suspect.” Anyone with information is urged to contact Los Angeles Police Department’s Topanga Division Detectives at 756-4820.
