Great work by police!
A man who attempted to drive from Blackpool to Birmingham in freezing conditions after allegedly drinking has been arrested. Lancashire Road Police confirmed they had made an arrest after the driver refused to provide a breath sample on the M61 near Chorley.
Initially a hotel in Blackpool reported to police that a male they suspected of being drunk had left their premises with the intention of driving to Birmingham in his BMW.
