Police later located the suspect vehicle on Yerba Buena Island and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. However, the driver refused to yield and led officers on a brief pursuit onto the eastbound side of the Bay Bridge.
The suspect vehicle eventually stopped on the Bay Bridge and several occupants attempted to flee the scene on foot, though police managed to detain them, according to the SFPD. An investigation into the shooting and subsequent pursuit is ongoing, and police could not immediately confirm if any suspects were taken into custody.
