Deputy Liberal leader Sussan Ley has slammed Daniel Andrews for his 'absolute refusal' to explore onshore gas options saying he has 'really contributed' to the energy crisis affecting the east coast.

Picture: Sam Mooy/Getty Images The group agreed on 11 actions including prioritising the work on a"capacity mechanism" that requires retailers to pay energy providers for extra capacity and a rule to assist the market operator to manage peak gas supply shortfalls through utilised storage.
Ms Ley suggested the Labor government should take a stronger approach with the state and territories to ensure domestic gas supply is guaranteed.
