Celtic hero Chris Sutton was left stunned as Kris Boyd stated the decision not to award a penalty against Livingston was correct.
Brendan Rodgers' side had appeals for a spot-kick in the first half against Livingston waved away by referee Don Robertson. Then, a swift VAR check of the incident passed without Robertson being called to review his decision by Alan Muir. Sutton - who admitted he had to watch the incident numerous times - was surprised no review was called after Kyogo went down under challenge from Mikey Devlin.However, play continued as Livingston made it to the break with the match goalless.
Commenting on the penalty claim, Sutton said: "I think Celtic will feel hard done by. I've had to look at this numerous times myself.Boyd then claimed there was no scope for a VAR intervention as he said: "You've had to look at it numerous , you still can't make your mind up so that's not clear and obvious.The Rangers hero then added on Sky Sports:"That's never a penalty. He's already down before the contact is made.
