Sven-Goran Eriksson was speaking before he manages Liverpool Legends at his beloved Anfield
Sven-Goran Eriksson believes Liverpool will win the Premier League this season - and revealed he intends to take up Jurgen Klopp’s offer to attend training at the AXA Training Centre.
Eriksson is a boyhood Liverpool fan and was invited to take charge of the Legends after earlier this year sharing his love for the Reds and his regret at never being able to manage them. And while Eriksson is surprised that Klopp will leave Liverpool at the end of the season, he was full of praise for the Reds boss as he backed him to win the Premier League in his final months at the club.
“One day I will come. But he’s doing a great job. I am sad that he is going to leave. Liverpool has a brilliant manager in this moment.
