A 29-year-old tradie, Aaron Greentree, tragically died on Tuesday morning after being electrocuted while working on an air-conditioning unit in Eagle Vale, Sydney. Leaving behind two young daughters, Mr. Greentree's family is facing a heartbreaking Christmas.
A Sydney family is enduring a heartbroken Christmas this year after a young father of two died following an unfortunate workplace accident.The man, identified as 29-year-old Aaron Greentree by the Daily Telegraph, died on Tuesday morning after being electrocuted while working on an air-conditioning unit at a home in Jet Place, Eagle Vale. Mr Greentree, who was a tradie at the time of the incident, was understood to be working in the roof cavity of the home when tragedy struck.
Emergency services rushed to the property just after 10am with fire and rescue services attempting to assist the man, however he was unable to be revived. Leaving behind two young daughters who he shared with his long-term partner in Sydney's south-west, Mr Greentree's family woke up this morning'shattered' without him. “We can’t even begin to understand this… he was the best dad, we are shattered for his girls,' a person close to the family told the Daily Telegraph.“He was a beautiful young man. May he rest in peace.” A crime scene has been established where the incident occurred, and NSW Police are working alongside SafeWork NSW to investigate the circumstances surrounding the electrocution
