The man allegedly submitted fraudulent applications for numerous schemes including COVID-19 business grants, JobSaver, Test and Isolate, Mouse Control support and Rental support - totalling payment of $246,450. Police say the man submitted additional fraudulent applications – totalling $590,550 – for schemes that were never paid.Strike Force Sainsbery detectives have laid more than 90 charges against the 42-year-old-man.

The Greenacre man was handed a court attendance notice for 91 counts of dishonestly obtaining financial advantage by deception and knowingly deal with proceeds of crime.NSW Police will continue investigating suspicious government support scheme applications.
