Police in the inner city suburb of Pyrmont started their investigation on Christmas Eve, after receiving reports two electric bikes had been stolen from a unit carpark. Yesterday, police searched a nearby unit and car park in Pyrmont where they allegedly found several stolen items including pre-packaged food meals, ammunition, prescription medication, credit cards, toy collectibles, action figures, shoes, and replica firearms.Items seized from a Pyrmont apartment as part of a police investigation that led to a man and woman being arrested yesterday.
A 37-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman were arrested at the property and taken to Day Street Police Station. Both the man and the woman have been charged with several offences including larceny, drug supply and possessing ammunition without holding a licence.Police will allege in court that the pair were stealing packages and parcels intended for other residents from the entrance of a Pyrmont unit complex.Continue reading
